With precision, we work with you to provide to your faculty special education simulation training.
We work with you and your faculty to:
- Understand and experience on a first-hand basis what having learning differences is like
- Develop the requisite empathy to teach students with learning differences well
- Become excited about teaching – and reaching – all students in new ways
- Begin to develop teaching strategies to address learning differences
Leonardo DaVinci. Agatha Christie. George Washington. Marilyn Monroe. There is no affinity – obvious or otherwise – between these eminent figures of history. However, between all of these men and women there is commonality besides their shared humanity: each of them are believed to have had a learning difference(s).
The list of great people from throughout history right down to the present day with learning differences is universal. What is also truly universal is the propensity to exclude or otherwise marginalize them. Only by empathy can this particular human propensity be corrected. Empathy leads to understanding. Understanding leads to conversion. Conversion leads to action.
