Push-In Support

ADAC works with school leaders, general and special education teachers, and paraprofessionals to:
  • Collaboratively analyze current delivery of push-in interventions and identify future opportunities for less restrictive service delivery
  • Develop skills among school-based special education stakeholders to (1) grow opportunities for inclusive service delivery for students with learning differences, (2) improve specialized instruction within the general education classroom, and (3) enhance quality data collection and analysis
  • Adopt family engagement strategies to provide least restrictive service delivery to students
  • Develop between special education teachers, general education teachers, and paraprofessionals effective systems of communication and collaboration to effectively provide maximum support to students with learning differences within the least restrictive environment
  • Provide support to teachers, special education teachers, and paraprofessionals on properly balancing push-in services with pull-out services and paraprofessional support in order to maximally meet the needs of all students with learning differences
