Early Childhood Literacy

With precision, ADAC provides to your early childhood teachers the support and in-class coaching they need to help their students achieve, both presently and for the future, age-appropriate literacy.

We work with you and your Pre-Kindergarten – 2nd grade teachers to:

  • Identify, via diagnostic assessment, lapses in age-appropriate skills, including phonemic/phonological awareness, reading fluency, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, numeracy, and social-emotional skills
  • Identify and execute through in-class teacher coaching and assessment data analysis effective, targeted interventions
  • Develop and provide, as needed, tutorial support through summer programs

Brilliance is innate. Genius is inborn. These alone, however, are insufficient because, in the absence of literacy – the genesis and the grounding of just about every other lesson that the academy endeavors to instill – brilliance and genius, respectively, remain hidden and latent.

On literacy does academic achievement rely. By literacy is academic progress consummated. With literacy is academic wisdom attained. And with this achievement, consummation, and attainment, the demands and occasional struggles through which one must go for the sake of a thorough education are vindicated.
